Northern Rail Trail
Description
The Northern Rail Trail is the longest rail trail in the state of New Hampshire. The 59 mile Northern Rail Trail has been completed as a four-season recreational trail along the historic railroad right-of-way from Lebanon in the Upper Valley through Enfield, Canaan, Orange, Grafton, Danbury, Wilmot, Andover, Franklin, and Boscawen to Commercial St. and the Hannah Duston Monument site.
There are several public parking areas located on the rail trail in Franklin, and maps of the entire rail trail and the latest information about the Northern Rail Trail can be found on their website.
